Need Advice

The Tenants’ Union operates a statewide telephone advice service, that provides tenancy information, advice and advocacy assistance for tenants and residents.

This service operates on a single phone line, so if the line is busy keep trying!

Tenants can also contact their local community based Tenant Advice and Advocacy Services (TAAS) for tenant advice and housing referral. These services are listed below and in the telephone directory under “T” for tenancy advice.

Tenants, residents, lessors,agents and providers can also contact the Residential Tenancies Authority information service on 1300 366 311 or visit the RTA website at www.rta.qld.gov.au to download tenancy forms and fact sheets.
